He is very happy with the quality, construction and patchwork. Feels this handsome set gives his queen size bed a much needed lift. I also bought two, extra firm king size pillows for the shams. You will need a bedskirt with the quilt. This is the second Greenland quilt set I have bought. Both get big thumbs up on all accounts. Excellent value.

The shams are a nice large size and fit a king sized pillow perfectly. The back of the shams (since you can't see them in the picture) are the light blue floral pattern and have two ties to hold the pillow inside. Each of the decorative pillows also has a different, coordinating fabric on the back with two ties. I like the look of the ties so I can change up the pillows to show either side facing out for a new look when I want it. I love that! The patterns are exactly as shown in the pictures. The only reason I am giving this four stars and not five is because it is very thin. I originally purchased it to be the only comforter/quilt on top of my sheet set and quickly found you will definitely need additional blankets, even in the summer.
