First the good.
-I ordered the peacock color in a queen size. I think the color is much nicer in person than on my display.
-They are thick and heavy and it appears they will last awhile.
-The fitted sheet has a very deep pocket, I have these sheets on a pillowtop mattress that has a 5 inch featherbed on top of it and they fit with room to spare.
-I've only washed them twice but I have not experienced any pilling so far.
-They are warm and thick.
The not so good.
-I would not call these sheets sateen at all. They had a bit of a sheen out of the package but that washed off right away (yes, I followed the washing instructions)
-They are not very soft compared to other sheets I have with a similar thread count, they feel only slightly better than a cheap set that came in a "bed-in-a-bag", although that could change with more washings... Read more

I love a nice, tight-fitting bottom sheet and these are some of the best I've ever dealt with, no slipping off of the mattress. Not too much of a problem with wrinkles, after washing and drying they were somewhat wrinkled but after I made the bed and let them sit they relaxed a bit. My only complaint, they are not very soft at all, they are quite thick, almost canvas-like feel to them. I hope they soften further with more washes.

These sheets are simply OK but nothing special. I'll keep them because they are barely worth the money but they are not fine sheets like you would think they would be based on the description.
