I was not necessarily looking for a purple bed in bag set, but I kept coming back to this one and I was skeptical about the price ($67 including shipping) It's always been a struggle to find Ca King bedding for a decent price. Well, I ordered it and it promptly arrived. As it happens, the overall color scheme of my bedroom has some purple tones to it along with beige, greens and blues. I was very surprised that this set coordinated with my existing art work, pillow shams, valence, wall color and carpeting. I should say that the carpet is grayish/blue, and the walls are in the blue family.
The color you see in the picture, is the color you get. It's very lush looking and I love the feel of it. It's not heavy at all which for us is a good thing. It's very soft and cuddly.
Comforter: I did check the stitching out on all the sides and the ticking (I think it's called) arranged on the top. All looked good. It has 2... Read more

The color is totally perfect and the quality of the suede cloth is very nice. Shipping was quick, albeit a little dear.

The comforter has stood up to multiple washer/dryer cycles at home, the color is a fantastic, rich plummy purple as shown in the photographs (despite the "lavender" in the item title), and the pillows are very firm and comfortable. The fit is just right for a cal king - the comforter drapes nicely over the edge, covering the sides and end of my 14-inch profile mattress with a few inches to spare. The bedskirt is also nice, though I realize in hindsight, I probably should have ironed it before going through the hassle of lifting up my heavy mattress to put it on the bed (I thought the wrinkles from the packaging would settle out, but months later, the skirt is still looking a bit wrinkled). The suede finish looks very inviting and cozy and coordinates perfectly with microsuede furniture - our bed was a little overwhelmed with the throw pillows, so I tossed a couple onto our microsuede chase lounge in the same room, and it looks great...
